Application process

Applying to drive for Fasten is simple, and there are two ways you can do it.

  1. Go to, and fill out your application on the web, or
  2. Apply directly within the Fasten app. From the main menu located in the upper left corner of the app, go to the About section and then select Drive with Fasten. This will take you directly to the web application.

To begin the application process, you will need to provide your email address, create a password, the city where you would be driving, and a driver's referral code if you have one.

In this section, please type in your legal name, phone number, date of birth, and email. You will also need to provide a current photo of yourself. The photo must be of just you (no one else). It is imperative that this is taken straight on (no side-profile shots), and that you should not be wearing a hat or sunglasses. Your profile picture is the first thing riders see within the app when you are assigned to be their driver.


Upload a picture of your valid driver license, please make sure the information on your driver license is legible in the photo. You will then type in the following information from your license: Driver License Number, Issuing State, and the date your license expires. This is also the part of the application where you would put your Social Security Number (SSN).


Please enter a valid address where you would like your tax information, and/or check payments (if you opted out of direct deposit) sent to.


Enter your account holder name, checking account number, and the issuing bank’s routing number because Fasten needs this in order to pay you! Please also fill out the W9 form, since this is needed for tax purposes.


Note: Fasten sends a weekly payment via ACH (direct deposit), please make sure to use your checking account. Weekly direct deposit payments to savings accounts can’t be processed.


Fill out all the information about any car that you will be using when you drive for Fasten. You must provide your license plate number, documentation for your registration and car insurance, and include multiple photos of the interior and exterior of your car. For car interior photos, we need to see the entire surface area of the seats in your vehicle. For car exterior photos, we need to see the entire front and back of the vehicle, including both headlights and the license plate.

As part of the application process, you will need to watch several short training videos. These videos will teach you more about Fasten’s general policies and operations.

What happens next?

After you submit your completed application, we will need 3-5 business days to review it and process your background check. We will reach out to you via email if anything needs additional clarification or updating. Once everything has been reviewed, you will receive a message from Fasten letting you know if you have been activated to drive.
