All Fasten drivers are required to use an Android device running at least Android 4.01 (Ice Cream Sandwich). This excludes most Android tablets that don't have cellular data capability.
If you do not have a device that can run the app, we will provide you with one. You will only have to pay a $200 refundable security deposit ($50/week over the course of 4 weeks on our platform). We will withhold $9/week from your earnings to cover the cost of the device and data provided by Fasten.
We now accept iOS devices to be used with our service. In order to download the iOS application for the driver please follow the following steps:
Confirm the installation and wait until the Fasten Driver app icon appears on the home screen.
When you tap to open the app, you will receive the following message. Please follow these steps to add Fasten Inc as a trusted developer on your device.
In order to be provided with one of our android devices, we require a $200 security deposit. This is taken out of your check over a 4 week period in increments of $50 a week. At the end of the 4 weeks, you should not see a phone security deposit charge. You will receive the security deposit back once the device is returned to us. In the event of a lost, stolen, damaged or unreturned device, we will retain your security deposit.
Fasten charges $9/wk for phone data as our application requires the use of data and internet.
If you use one of our devices, and do not work for 2 weeks and subsequently work the following week, we will take 3 weeks worth of data charges from your account as the phone was still in your possession. We will never take money from your paycheck if you have no money to give, so essentially, we cannot charge you if you do not work, however the phone is still active hence the charge for 3 weeks.
